Ben Wright

Ben Wright was baptized into Christ during the summer of 1979 when he was 24 years old and thus became a member of the Kittanning Church of Christ.   He then went to Freed Hardeman University and IUP to receive his degree in Management Information Systems.   

When he returned to attending the Church at Kittanning on a full time basis, he began dating Jill who would become his wife.  They have been happily married for 38 years.   Ben went to work at Latrobe Area Hospital and they moved their family to the Latrobe area.  Because Ligonier Church of Christ was much closer, they attended there for a number of years.  It was during this time that Ben began to get heavily involved with teaching which he has continued to do till the present.

Eventually, however, they came back to their roots at Kittanning and have been attending their ever since.   Their children are now grown and have moved away, but Ben and Jill visit their grandchildren whenever they get the chance.   Ben is a strong supporter of evangelism and is involved with visitation on a regular basis.  He has been to other countries on mission trips and has preached at one time or another at over 20 congregations.
